Feb.
Koken Kogyo K.K. was established in Yokohama.
1957
Apr.
Started production of an electric winches, and became a manufacturer specializing in the winches.
1958
Nov.
Changed name to Toyo Koken Kogyo Co., Ltd.
1959
Oct.
Transferred Head Office to Totsuka in Yokohama.
1964
1971 Established as Dainichi Kiko, Inc.
Oct.
Registered as over-the-counter stocks with Japan Securities Dealers Association.
1973
1977 Successfully achieved automatic weight sensing control.
Started full-scale sales of the zero-gravity device, Balaman.
Mar.
Contracted to be exclusive Japan agent for Mannesmann DEMAG.
Started selling transportation equipment.
1986
1987 Started selling the high performance palletizing/depalletizing robot, "PALEBOT PX-1".
Feb.
Launched the unloaders, Mighty Puller and Mighty Slider.
1988
1989 Became part of the Nitto Kohki Group.
Changed company name to Medoman Co., Ltd.

1990 Launched the light-weight Balaman, "BMF-30/50".
Launched the high performance robot, "PALEBOT PX-3/RC-10".
1991 Launched the heavy-weight robot, "PALEBOT PX-4/RC-10".

Issued convertible debenture in Swiss Francs.
Oct.
Established the Fukuoka Sales Office.
1992 Launched the low body Balaman, "BMG-30/50".
Launched the tool balancer, "TBU-30/TBO-30".
1993 Developed the random palletizing system (mixed palletizer).

Established the Osaka Sales Office.
1994 Launched the scalar type Balaman, "BMS-75".
Launched the high-performance, next-generation robot controller, "RC-20".
Nov.
Established the Okazaki Branch.
1995 Launched the high-speed palletizing robot, "PALEBOT MX-100".
1996 Launched the high-performance robot controller, "RC-24".
Launched the electric Balaman, "BMES-75".
1997 Launched the high-speed palletizing robot, "PALEBOT MX-150".
Launched the simplified robot, "PALEBOT MX-25".
1998 Launched two hoist Balamans, "BMH-30" and "BMH-60".
1999 Launched the mini-Balaman, "BMM-40P/U".

Took over Conveyor business from Toyo Kanetsu.K.K.
2000 Launched the new type of high-speed palletizing robot, "PALEBOT MX-150".
Apr.
Took over the winch division from Seibu Electric & Machinery Co., Ltd.
Aug.
・Acquired "Medoman co., Ltd." and made a subsidiary company.
・Started production and sales of Ladder-lifter, Balancer, Robot and Conveyor.
Dec.
Transferred the Okazaki Branch to Midori-ku in Nagoya as the Nagoya Sales Office.
2001 Became part of the Toyo Kanetsu Group.
Jan.
・Transferred Production and Engineering Department to Yamanashi Prefecture.
・Merged with Medoman Co.,Ltd.

Transferred the Nagoya Sales Office to Moriyama-ku in Nagoya.

Transferred the Main Sales Office to Minami-Alps City in Yamanashi Prefecture.
2004
Sep.
Transferred the Fukuoka Sales Office to Kasuga City in Fukuoka.
2005
Oct.
Started selling microcomputer control "Super Baby Hoist" and "Ultra Balaman".
2006
Apr.
Toyo Kanetsu K.K. fully acquired Toyo Koken's stocks and turned us into a wholly-owned subsidiary company.
Oct.
Spun off Conveyor Division as K Techno, Inc., a Toyo Kanetsu Group company.
2012
Apr.
Launched new products: Baby Hoist BH-N Series and the self-propelled conveyor, "Giraffe".
2015
Apr.
Established the Customer Center.
Nov.
Transferred Head Office to our new office building in Minamisuna, Koto-ku, Tokyo.
2016
Apr.
Launch of new product "Ashiba Boy"
2017
Oct.
Launch of new product "Vaculex Vacuum Lifter System"
2018
Oct.
Released a new product "Slope Walker".
Dec.
